Jerry Rees
President Bailey will discuss how context and adaptation have been the cornerstones of the strategic successes they have enjoyed at Northern New Mexico College. He will discuss the intricacies of defining strategy itself, explain the approach to crafting the strategic direction at the college in 2016-2017, introduce a theory related to the importance of the Baldrige Criteria, and offer an example of how strategic thinking helped the college to solve the two most wicked problems plaguing the institution over the last decade.
Northern New Mexico College is a small public four-year higher education institution with campuses in Española and El Rito, New Mexico. Its mission is to support student success by providing access to affordable, community-based learning opportunities that meet the educational, cultural and economic needs of the region.
